Plot[]
A ragged-looking man wearing a long cloak loads his bey, taking a planted stance as his opponent loads their bey, one of the generic Mecha beys. The man’s bey is an older bey, scarred from years of use in terrible battles, he launches it with a cry of disciplined restraint, the opposing blader shouting the traditional “Let It Rip”. The opposing bey attempts to use an ability, however the man performs a martial arts technique, his bey attacks the opposing bey with such ferocity that it slices off one of the bey’s wings, taking the opposing blader by surprise and causing them to stop saying the ability name. The man performs another martial arts technique, his bey then attacks again, this time jumping atop the opposing bey and severing the cables and wires on top of it, the opposing bey spinning at hyper-speed before going into meltdown and exploding, pieces of it going everywhere, including at the opposing blader. The man recalls his bey, saying that the defeated blader will take him where he wants to go.
Destan wakes up to find a snake looking at him, he goes to touch it and it disappears, the man who found him saying that it’s just curious, as it hasn’t met someone from the Xiao Dynasty for a long time. Destan is surprised, asking if the man knew his father, the man replying of course, and his mom too, Destan asking if it was back when they were together, the man says that it was before then, but not long before. Destan asks again who the man is, the snake reappearing and saying that his name is Psyra, Destan exclaiming that he’s one of the people who invented the Burst System, and defeated Ramaz Dolsa, as well as being one of the only people still alive from the Dark History. Psyra laughs, and says he’s actually from a long time before the Dark History, and if Destan sticks around for a little while longer, he’ll meet other old people.
Morgan and |Kaiga are talking loudly about their something, while Galahad and Isolde are trying to rip the window of the room out of its frame used their beys. Clémentine and Vixin are holding a blanket between the boys for when the window falls out, however as the frame comes out of the wall it begins to fall the other way, Morgan narrowly using his Unite Performance Tip to pull it back the right way. Everyone quickly jumps out of the window, Clémentine using Anubis to create an aura of shadows around them all, running into the trees except Isolde and Morgan, Liger fusing the window back into the wall while Ifrit holds it in place, the pair following the others after the window frame has been put back in place. The group run until the come to the ruins of a fortress, Clémentine saying that this place radiates ancient energy that should mask their own energy for the night, before jumping back in surprise as the spirit of Ifrit comes out of nowhere, saying that it will keep the group warm, the other spirits of their beys appearing, saying that they’ll protect them too. Lion creates a set of vine hammocks for each of them, noticing that none of them have brought anything except what they had on them., and Unicorno says that it will look around the area for villages who might be able to help them.
Hikari is sitting in her office, reading up on the specifications of a new security program that her company is developing, she gets a notification that someone is using her home computer, confused, she calls the phone in her home office, but no-one answers. Cherrosée is using Hikari’s computer to access the voice match software on it, putting in the recording of the person who has found Destan, the phone rings, and he is too scared to answer. Hikari calls the main phone of the mansion, Céleste picks up, and Hikari asks if she’s using her computer, Céleste laughs and says of course not, Hikari sighing, and asks Céleste if she can please go and see who is. Céleste knocks on the door of Hikari’s office, and getting no answer opens it and walks in, finding the voice match software open, with a file uploaded to it, meanwhile Cherrosée has hidden behind the desk. Céleste plays the file, growing more worried as it continues to play, and calls Hikari back, saying that Destan has gone missing.
The ragged man is walking through the rainforest, having sensed a massive surge of bey energy. Walking with his eyes closed to follow the energy, as it is too dark to see anyway, he senses another, more familiar energy, before colliding with something moving fast. The thing apologies, the man opening his eyes to see what it is, finding the shape of a glowing Unicorn, who asks the man if he can help it.
