The Power Reclamation Regiment begins their hunt for Xiao Des, while Psyra and Destan journey to El Dorado.

General Bogdan Wojewoda is briefing his soldiers on the new situation, telling them that a greater threat than they anticipated has appeared. He puts the video of Maverick’s bey being destroyed up on the giant screen in the encampment’s courtyard, the video showing an analysis of the blader and bey he was facing. The analysis is inconclusive about the identity of the blader, however it identifies the bey as Exia Xiaolong, the General saying that if his bey is here, then Emperor Xiao Des must be here as well. The General continues, saying that Emperor Xiao must be after the power hidden in El Dorado as well, and so they will need to hunt him down, and either defeat or at least distract him while they continue their search for the lost city. Tixa points out that Emperor Xiao was able to destroy Maverick’s bey without using even an ability, the General replying that although the Bei-Ling techniques are powerful, Maverick was a weak, overconfident blader, who relied on the power of his bey too much, and the General has devised countermeasures based on teachings from his old commander, who was once a member of the Bei-Ling Temple. Hesperides says that all beys will be uploaded with the programming for the anti-Xiaolong countermeasures, but the programming can only combat known techniques extracted from archived footage of Bei-ling bladers.
Destan and Psyra are making their way through a small mountain range, Destan asks Psyra why there’s a mountain range in the jungle, Psyra replying that it was created as a result of powerful beys battling during the Dark History, the landscape of the earth used to look much different, in some ways unrecognisable, Destan then asking Psyra why beys now don’t do that anymore. Psyra explains that it was kind of his fault, as he and Reco tried to fix the problems of the universe, but this angered one of the Gods, who sent Psyra to the Dark Realm, but that the God was foolish, and in doing so altered the universe so that nothing could be as powerful, hence why even the strongest Zero Era beys before the Burst System are weaker than the ones created during the Dark History, or why certain elements and metals are rare, because beys can no longer produce them, or why people can’t live for thousands of years like he can. Psyra finishes by saying that all of that is fixed now, he and Reco fixed it a few years ago, like the Burst System will let beys become super powerful again, and people can live forever, but it’s too early to see, adding that Destan could end up being a thousand before he dies, if he chooses to. The pair continue to hike, stopping to allow Destan to rest and have some lunch, Psyra says they’re actually pretty close to the city, you just can’t see it because of the camouflage system, pointing out to the horizon, Destan says he can feel the energy of the city, as well as a familiar energy from somewhere else.
Xiao Des is leading Vixin, Clémentine, Kaiga, Isolde, Morgan, and Galahad through the forest, stopping occasionally to meditate for a few minutes before continuing. Galahad asks why he keeps doing this, Des snapping back that he’s seeing the path they need to travel, Vixin asking if he means the way to go, Des replying that he means tapping into the spiritual energy and letting it guide him. Clémentine asks if he is still using Exia Xiaolong, Des saying of course he is, the Xiao Dynasty and Xiaolong have been as one for a thousand generations, since the foundation of beyblading itself. Kaiga asks Des what he’s going to do with them, Des ignoring him, Vixin asks him the question again, and Des ignores her too, Vixin shouting the question at him. Des tells them that he is protecting them from the ones who would do them harm, as their beyspirits asked him to, and in return they will give him the boy who might be his son.
Cherrosée is training alone with Peacock Aero Xtreme, he is battling a pair of training beys, one using attack-type techniques, the other using defense-type techniques, both of the dark element, the opposite of Peacock’s light element. The attack-type bey slams into Peacock, knocking it into the defensive field ability of the defence-type bey, Peacock tilting to use the force to ride over the domed-shape of the forcefield. Peacock activates Peacock Barrage, firing a series of small beams at the opposing beys, however the defense-type bey moves in front, activating another shield ability, the beams bouncing harmless off, Cherrosée grimacing. His look hardens, and Peacock charges at the defense-type bey, circling the stadium a few times to gather speed, as it charges straight for the opposing by, the attack-type bey goes to intercept Peacock, however as it is about to strike it Peacock shifts to the right, causing the opposing bey to fly harmlessly past, and Peacock slams into the defense-type bey. Cherrosée sends Peacock to barrage the stunned defense-type bey, circling in a star-shape formation, battering the bey around the stadium, the attack-type bey goes to strike Peacock, who dodges, causing the attack-type bey to slam into the defense-type bey, Peacock then activating its ability Feather Edge, generating an energy blade along its Energy Layer, slicing through the opposing beys and causing them to burst out. He recalls Peacock, gritting his teeth in annoyance as Angus walks into the stadium to tell him that they’re leaving to get Destan back, and will probably bring Isolde home too while they’re over there, asking Cherrosée to please behave himself, and Renaud is coming down to look after him for the week, Cherrosée grinning a devious smile to himself, before saying a curt goodbye to his father, then getting out his phone to ask his uncle to bring any mysterious Dark History artifacts that he has in his collection.
Tracker is jumping through trees, showing superhuman agility as she does so, muttering to herself as she flies through the air. She stops for a moment before jumping out of a tree, landing beside a footprint on the ground, she crouches down, sniffing it, and the faint image of Destan appearing, before flickering away.
