The Beyblade Burst Expanded Universe (ベイブレードバーストエキスパンデッドユニバース, Beiburēdo Bāsuto Ekisupandeddo Yunibāsu) is a work of fiction created by Hyperus18, featuring most of the canon Beyblade Burst cast, the cast of Beyblade Burst: Real-World Chronicles, and some new additions and replacements.

Valt Aoi is a cheerful Beyblade-loving Japanese boy in the 5th grade. Meanwhile, Drew Lee is a SoCal high schooler and an aspiring engineer. They both work hard to better themselves at Beyblade with their partner Beys, Victory Valtryek B. V. and Dire Dragonis X. Sp. respectively.
Valt's close friend Shu Kurenai, who is regarded as a Beyblade genius, is a participant in the JP National Tournament and is called one of the Japanese Supreme Four due to his high influence within the tournament.
Also, prominent teen musician Phaedra Vincent is a member of the American Supreme Four for the same reason that Shu is one of the JP Supreme 4.
Valt and Drew set their aims towards their respective National Tournaments!
Evolution[]
Shizue Suzaki, who participated in the Japanese Championship, was scouted for the prestigious Spanish team BC Sol and heads out to Spain.
Meanwhile, in America, a teenager named Alex Cain aspires to walk the same path that his idol Drew Lee once took, and is scouted by the American National Team.
With their sights set on the world, Shizue, Alex and their friends begin their challenge for the World League! However, in order to qualify for the World League, they must first win their respective Continental Leagues. Will Shizue and Alex be able to take BC Sol and the Stellar Voyagers to the World League? And can they defeat the world's strongest Bladers?

A year after the beginning of Evolution, the story focuses on Aiger Akabane, a Japanese "wild child" that grew up in nature, and Preston Riley, a hot-headed teen mythology enthusiast from Los Angeles, California. After battling the mighty Shizue Suzaki herself, Aiger became inspired to become the No. 1 Blader in the world, along with his Beyblade, Zoom Achilles 11 Xtend. However, Preston aims to do exactly the same, with Paladin Perseus, or as he describes it: "the vermilion blade forged with the ichor of the gods".
Both protagonists aim to fight strong opponents in an effort to become stronger themselves.
To defeat Shizue and become the World Champion, Aiger and Preston begin their journey.
Rise[]
Seeking to innovate and break the metagame with customizable layer parts, Eric Valentine creates the Alloy Weight layer system and inadvertently discovers a new form of resonance known as "Synergy" thanks to Aitor Talavera. Soon enough, Aitor and Eric realize they’ll have to do whatever it takes to deepen their bonds with each other.
Some time later, in Spain, current world champion Shizue Suzaki has been training the next generation of elite Bladers at BC Sol. One day, rookie Bladers Dante Koryu and Delta Zakuro witness Shizue unleashing her newly-evolved Alloy Weight Bey, Rush Salacia. To their surprise, Salacia radiates a golden light as it rockets around the stadium. Inspired by the limitless possibilities of this “Golden Turbo” state, both Dante and Delta seek the same bond with their Beys, and the former and his partner, Ace Dragon, set off for Japan, the birthplace of Beyblade.
But the path to glory won’t be easy; plenty of tough competitors and Alloy Weight Beys stand in their way, among them some of the best to ever let it rip.

From high atop the Blading world reign the Blading Legends, a select group of Bladers who set the standard to which all other hopefuls aspire. No challenger yet has succeeded in breaking through their ranks.
A legend among legends, Valt Aoi hosts an exhibition match featuring a revolutionary class of Bey: “Superking Beys”. Inspired by the battle, two unknown brothers, Hyuga and Hikaru Hizashi, issue a challenge: armed with their own Superking Beys Super Hyperion Xc. 1A and King Helios Zn. 1B, this unlikely duo is going to topple Beyblade’s ruling elite.
Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, the same city where Preston Riley started his journey, we come across a teenager who randomly stumbles across Beyblade, makes one of her own, and issues the same challenge. Her name is Lia Tanikawa, the owner of Tyrant Lemuel Sy. 2A, whom she named after her most favorite Arknights operator.
As our heroes’ challenge envelops the world’s Blading legends, a new tournament is born to determine who among them is truly the best. In the middle of this mayhem, there lurks two unique Bladers shrouded in mystery. And they just so happen to be the inventors of the Superking Layer System.
Will Hikaru, Hyuga, and Lia be the spark that ignites a Blading revolution? With their Beys in hand, these young adults are ready to begin their own legend of growth and adventure.

Months after the final stages of the Ultimate Tag Series, rumors begin to circulate about Phantom’s Gate, a graveyard for Beys.
Hearing screams from a nearby mansion night after night, Fumiaki Shiranui sneaks inside to test his courage. Waiting for him is one Bel Daizora, wielder of the Dynamite Battle Bey, Dynamite Belfyre. As it turns out, this mansion is the rumored Phantom’s Gate, and the screams Fumiaki hears are the cries of Bladers whose Beys have been destroyed. Bel issues a challenge to Bladers all over the world to come and battle him.
And from the crowd, emerges a new Blader who might just topple the Demon Lord: high school math genius Connor Cheng.
In America, Beyblade review channel Towards the Top's owner, Byron Parker, disappears for reasons unknown, and has appointed Connor to lead the "Triple-T Channel" in his stead. Connor then issues a challenge to test the potentials of every single blader in the world against that of him and his Bey, Cyber Capricorn.
In response, Blading royalty appears in the form of Preston Riley, the Vermilion Swordsman. Even as Perseus chases Capricorn down with its intense attacks, Capricorn shows off the awesome power of the Dynamite Battle Layer System, bursting its foe. In response to Connor’s devastating battle, Blading Legends all over the world set their sights on the Oceanic Adventurer.
The curtain’s about to rise on the legends of Bel, having made an enemy of every Blader in the world as the Dark Prince, and Connor, who's just starting to realize his potential as the Oceanic Adventurer, respectively!
Beyond[]
The stage is set for a new tournament format, but there's something new shaking the world! Enter Quadra, Tessara, Cadvarus, Vierro, Ferrux, Arbar, and Chetaire, dubbed the "All-Fours". Wielding their respective Elemental Beys, Lazer Pandora, Tsunami Selkie, Twister Kahri, Fervent Rafalco, Ferric Bison, Evergreen Cervion, and Svalinn S8 (blade name TBD), these seven have defeated every foe to come their way. Meanwhile, Quadra’s brother, Pax, is busy studying the elemental powers radiating from a series of mysterious ruins nearby.
Hokkaido native Koharu Tsukiyuki learns of this phenomenon when she suddenly gets an Ice-elemental Vision upon creating Icicle Khione, and Champaign County native Sierra Keagan prepares to set the torches alight with Kindle Suzaku and her new Fire-elemental Vision! Beyblade Burst is about to go Shogun Steel!
