Sorry, I've only just seen this message. A lot has gone on recently so I've been out-of-touch with a lot of things. Life's a bitch, haha.
I won't be able to be fully online until Sunday at the earliest. However, feel free to contact me over Facebook or Kik (or whatever everyone uses these days) if that makes things quicker and easier for you :P
Aye Mana I wanna thank you for giving me and Reco the admin rights. The wiki has been going really well and running really smooth. We get frequent new members, and even got members to RP that never really RP before. But since the summer is coming up and we might be getting more members, me and Reco were wondering if we could get bureaucracy just in case we might need to promote other users for a Beyblade Fanon Board.
I've turned up to Fanon chat frequently over the past week or two and have seen nobody there at all. At the moment, as far as I can see, Fanon isn't actually progressing, so I'm going to leave bureaucracy out of this at the moment as I don't see it needed.
Though, I'd be happy if you could prove me wrong. I can only go based on what I can see from a glance.
Well it depends on what your definition of progress is. We got users to RP that never really RPed before. And not even just RP, we also got new editors. So even if you see no one on chat, there is still new editors and the recent wiki activity is active.
Hello. Ezio had made an adoption request about the bureaucrat rights, so I was looking it over. While I will respect your wishes not to appoint bureaucrats, Special:ListUsers (you can use the arrows to sort on date of last edit) supports Ezio and Recon's assertion that there are quite a few active active contributors on this wikia at this time. I encourage you to take a second look. If you are not willing to give them bureaucrat, perhaps you could promote somebody to be a third admin to help them out.
While I completely respect their wishes Merrystar, I've spoken to them already about my action plan. This Wiki has been abused far too much in the past with people throwing rights to their alternate accounts and promoting others without a general consensus. Therefore, I'm extremely cautious when it comes to any sort of promotion.
I fully trust these two and yes, they've done some great restoration work, as they've pointed out to me. I absolutely have intentions to promote them, but I want to be completely sure that that is best for the Wiki in the end. As it currently stands, the only thing they can't do without crat rights is promote other users to sysop, which I don't really see a need for yet, so I don't consider their rights to be an immediate priority yet. Should they think someone needs promoting as well, it's not all that difficult to contact me about it either.
So yes, I'll grant them the rights soon, ideally within the next few weeks, but there's a few more things I want to see and ask about with them before I make that irreversible leap.
I am willing to bet my life on the fact that YOU, "Leo Mclaughlin" are none other than BlitzHoruseus. You use the same level of language, type the same way, and whine the same way. For someone who wanted to be banned for 999, 999, 999, 999 years, hard to believe you would want to come back after 3 days.
